On 13th August 2010 several key members of linked Organised Crime Groups in Sheffield and Birmingham were sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court to a total of 35 years for Conspiracy to Supply Class ‘A’ Drugs. Tyneside robbers brought to book

December 2008 into January 2009 saw three men, Alan Tams, Thomas Reay and Shaun Robson (aka Ovington) committing armed robberies at Bookmakers across the Gateshead and Newcastle Upon Tyne regions.  Armed with various offensive weapons the gang would violently enter and rob takings and steal the personal belongings of staff.
